Paloma Smoothie Craft Beer Design
These illustrations and pattern design were created in Procreate on the iPad Pro using the Apple pencil. The lime graphics were drawn out and arranged, then formed into a repeat pattern design for the bottom portion of the label. I love creating surface patterns!

This was a fun one! Introducing Paloma Smoothie Sour, a summer cocktail collaboration between @fourscorebeerco and @monumentcitybrewing 🍻 These friends teamed up with 2 new beers that your tastebuds will love! I’m grateful for the creative opportunity to design both labels.

Grateful for the creative opportunity to illustrate and design this can label for @monumentcitybrewing 🙏🏻🍻 I truly had a blast doing the art for both cans in this collaboration between MCB and @fourscorebeerco This end of the collab is 5.9% Paloma Lager. Super fun to bring the flavor to life in this series. Look at those coordinating cap colors!

How do you design beer can labels?
I love that question! Each label design can be a little different depending on the concept, brewery and theme. BUT each can design always starts with a creative idea and sketch.
Meet Paloma Lager & Paloma Smoothie! This delicious duo was designed for @monumentcitybrewing out of Baltimore, MD and their collab with @fourscorebeerco from Gettysburg, PA 🍻2 Brews, 2 corresponding label designs!!
Depending on the art style, I either draw traditionally with pen & ink, or in this case in Procreate on my iPad Pro! Next I work in my graphic design skills in Photoshop and create the layout in Adobe Illustrator. Can 3D Mock-ups are created as PSD smart objects. Finally, I complete the beer branding with matching keg collars, tap handles and sell sheets for the distributors.
